Glasgow Development Squad
The Development Squad is an 11 a side team that participates in the Glasgow and District Saturday Morning League. It's purpose is two fold, to engage participants in mainstream sport at a competetive level and to provide a support mechanism for participants during evenings and weekends. 
Training and matches are held at fixed times during the evening and at weekends offering structure to participants lifestyles, additionally ensuring that participants can take part in and sustain education, training or employment during the day.
Although the squad is a progression tool for participants who have the ability to participate in sport at a competitive level there are clear entry requirements around fitness, attitude and appropriate behaviour.
