Development Squad Promotion

Street League’s Development Squad stormed into Division A of the Glasgow and District Saturday Morning League after finishing third in Division B.  First team coach Joe Malcolmson said “this is a great achievement for the boys, they have worked hard and now have been rewarded for their efforts”.   The teams late promotion charge saw five victories in the last seven league fixtures.

The team hope to compete well this year and are hope full of a mid table finish in the top flight.  The new season has already kicked off and Street League have secured a quarter final place in the league cup after the 7-3 defeat of Club Sporting and drawing 2-2 with Invac in the group stage respectively.  Goals from Darren Brannigan (3), Ross McNeil (2), Mark Gilmour, James Drummond and John McAnnany (3) across both fixtures sealed qualification.
