Street League Sports Day!

The first part of the day started the track and field events which included 400 metre Relay, Sack race and team builders. All participants really got into the spirit of the day, encouraging each of their teams during the events and committing to the team builders.  

This was followed by a buffet in the main marquee which was greatly appreciated by the participants and then Austin McCann from Dunfermline FC dropped in to chat with the participants.

In the afternoon session the World Cup 5 aside tournament took place along with the Gladiators inflatable, including the jousting dual and the assault course.  This gave participants the opportunity to test their skills and battle with each other in a “safe environment”. 

With the day coming to a close Street League were honoured by the appearance of Old Firm rivals and now very successful TV and radio pundits, Andy Walker and Fraser Wishart to present the trophies and medals. However the real success of the day was the volunteer support that put in loads of hard graft and effort during the planning and preparation of the event.
