Team Profiles
Southwark Rangers
Southwark Rangers are one of Street League's longest established teams. They originally drew their players from Southwark Council Social Services' Unaccompanied Minors Unit, made up of refugees between the ages of 16 and 18. Many are still with the team and have gone on to college and university and the team now draws players from a wider base of individuals in the Southwark and Lambeth area.
Anchor House
Anchor House have been with Street League since April 2005 and at times have had enough players to form two teams. Anchor House is a 100 bed hostel in Canning Town
whose aim is to assist and empower residents to reclaim their lives by concentrating on areas such as health, physical fitness, education, training, personal development, resident involvement etc leading to a return to independent living and a more positive contribution to society.
PB United
PB United became part of Street League in April 2002 and are one of our oldest teams. They were originally formed from a hostel for refugees in Forest Hill called PB House which was run by Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham Refugee Health Team, as part of the primary care trust. The service works to improve access to health care for refugees.

Barnet Eagles & Barnet Wanderers
Barnet Eagles and Barnet Wanderers are two teams from Barnet Refugee Service, which aims to provides advice, information and support to refugees and asylum seekers and organisations across the London Borough of Barnet. They have been with Street League since April 2003.
Some of Barnet Refugee Services currently include volunteering opportunities, a women’s group and emergency support for destitute asylum seekers. They have just started a mentoring project to provide 1-1 support to our most vulnerable refugee clients including many unaccompanied minors. They provide workshops to refugees and asylum seekers on their rights and entitlements and refugee awareness training to service providers.
PB Gunners
Most of PB Gunners come from Peter Bedford Housing. Peter Bedford is a housing group based in Islington and Hackney providing supported housing, work, training and employment and community services. They work with people who face long term exclusion from society through homelessness, mental health problems, learning difficulties, or multiple needs.
They have been with Street League for two years.
AFC Hendon
AFC Hendon is the team name of Somali Family Support Group, a Hendon based organisation set up in 2001 to respond to the Health and Social Welfare needs of Somali children, women, Refugees, Asylum seekers and other Ethnic Minority Communities. AFC Hendon have been part of Street League since March 2006.
Six8Four Haringey United
Six8Four is a day centre for people with mental health issues based in Haringey. They provide a social environment for people with severe and enduring mental health problems. They help service users to identify and develop skills, promote self-confidence, self-esteem and life skills, assisting in creating pathways to training, college links, friendships, and networking with other agencies and offering a wide range of social and educational activities including a café project, computer club, and a women-only day service. Six8Four have been part of Street League since October 2005.
Limegrove
Limegrove Hostel in Shepherds Bush provides emergency, quick-access accommodation for homeless men and women. The centre houses 40 homeless men and women. The project aims to meet all the needs of homeless people in one location by providing accommodation, healthcare, training, education and employment advice. Limegrove have been part of Street League since April 2003.
SL Ladies
Street League Ladies train on a Monday night at Whitechapel Sports Centre, between 6-8pm. The centre is women only on the day. All are welcome and you don't have to have played football before. If you're interested in joining email our Outreach Coordinator,

Wandsworth
Wandsworth have been with Street League for over five years and are a regular fixture at training, matchdays and cup competitions. They are formed from Wandsworth Social Services and train on a Tuesday.
