Hampden Graduation
The latest group of Directions 2 Work graduates celebrated their achievement by receiving their accreditations at the Scottish FA's headquarters at Hampden Park on 13th February. The 18 participants had completed a range of courses including SFA development activities, coaching young footballers and the Level 1 Community Sports Leadership Award.
The afternoon kicked off with a celebration dinner at the Glasgow Sports Cafe and a tour of the Scottish Football Museum, before the players were handed their certificates in the presentation box in the stand of Hampden Park.
Gordon Peacock of Jericho House said: “ I’ve had a great day and really enjoyed the courses over the past few weeks, I feel more confident in my ability and want to pursue a career in this type of work. I am looking forward to starting my voluntary work.”
