John Wheatley Visit
Community Education students from John Wheatley College visited Street League as part of a programme to observe best practice delivery in the sector. Street League's Brian Lennox (pictured), Ally Dawson and Victoria Scott delivered a presentation about the charity's work in engaging hard to reach groups in a sports and education programme.
This was followed by a question and answer session which gave the twelve students and lecturer Wendy Belk, an opportunity to explore the charity's work in relation to their Community Education curriculum.
Wendy said: "‘Visiting Street League with John Wheatly College students has been an inspiring experience, it has been great for them to see community work values and practice principles in action at this pioneering project. I hope this will be a start of continued contact with John Wheatley College."
