Street League will soon be re-lauching our eagerly awaited Cup Competitions and Matchdays. It is likely that we will hold our last Saturday event ever for the next Cup Comp and move towards having all Cup and League games during the week thereafter.
It's important that you start to organise your teams to take part in these events and remind them of the importance of attending training in the build up to the games. We will also be handing out the credit rewards and in order to make their order, players will need to attend training so they can inform the coach of what they want.

We're currently recruiting for a part time fitness instructor to deliver fitness sessions to our female clients. Check out the vacancies page for more information. The role is only open to female applicants because of the nature of the role. If you want to discuss the role contact Gudrun and if you want to discuss the recruitment process, contact Dawn.
If you're not quite right for the vacancy but still want to get involved, how about volunteering with us?

Dear Team Managers, Street League has decided to leap into the 21st Century and will now inform our team managers of upcoming matches, courses and events via the world wide web because, like Garlic Bread, it's the future. We want you to leave comments on all matters Street League. We will even be as generous as to suggest that this includes your views on our ref's! Although we'd prefer if you focus on constructive comments (sending a ref to Specsavers does not count as 'constructive' ). Why wait?! No need to register and you can be anonymous if you prefer.......

In light of the latest millionaire footballer strop I ask the question - Should managers follow through and actually let their star player 'rot in the reserves', as the famous threat goes, or should the Berbatov's of the footballing world be allowed to join the best team in the world and fulfill their "dream"???

Welcome all to the Street League blog for London! To get things started, have you heard about our Goals Project? Its a fantastic five week personal development course held at QPR and Millwall football stadiums with the aim of helping unemployed people develop the confidence and skills to turn their lives around and move towards education, employment and training. This excellent film, produced by our very own Jack Harrison, shows Goals in action. This particular session is called Thinking Differently and is about helping people to develop a postive frame of mind. Enjoy!
