This Christmas was the best ever and it happens to be my first Christmas away from home. At first I was a little bit worried thinking I’m not going to enjoy it but it happens to be great. I met a lot of new friends new family and everybody was very nice to me, most especially my counterparts parent were really amazing they were full of surprises and very caring they take me as their own son.

On the eve of Christmas my counterpart took me the Worcester cathedral which was big and nice and we also went to the cricket ground which was also beautiful, the next day which is Christmas we played different types of games on the play station afterword’s we eat drink a lot of wine dance their own kind music because everybody in the house except me love country music and later the gave me a lot of gifts, so the next day the surprise me with a ticket to watch arsenal and villas game live and the funniest thing is I was an arsenal fan sitting on villas fan side it was a great game I really enjoy myself .

We’re back in work after our Xmas break. I spent a week back home in Wales and took my Nigerian counterpart home with me. He seemed to enjoy it, and for some reason, was fascinated by the sheep and posed for endless photographs with them. The week went by all too fast and after experiencing a British Xmas my counterpart and I trekked back up to London to spend New Year with the whole Global Xchange team where we saw in 2009 with much cheer and more dancing.

Now, we’re back in street league for the next two months. Our original project was the players’ survey. However, that has changed and now, we are helping Rob with the progressions monitoring and evaluation. Part of this involves phoning up players to fill in a survey form. The first time I phoned a player I accidentally ended up ringing up all the office phones and having Riz talk to me at the other end. However, now I have it sussed and slowly making it through the long list.

We’re also getting a chance to carry out face – to-face questionnaires and will be attending more sessions, so I’ll be seeing you all out and about!
