Sport Relief

On a rain soaked Sunday in London, Street League player and volunteer Paul Torrance took part in Sport Relief’s 6 mile run. Paul was amongst thousands of runners to complete the run in the flagship event on London’s Victoria Embankment.

Paul clocked up an impressive time of 59 minutes and 30 seconds, raising £130 in total.

As a Street League player Paul has benefited first hand from the money raised for Sport Relief. “The money I, and everyone else, raised,” he said, “will help people like me to get back into football, cricket and other sports. The Street League training sessions have increased my fitness, and so enabled me to complete the run on Sunday”.

Despite the pain in his legs on Monday morning Paul thought that the day was great fun and he would love to run in the next one, with hopefully better weather than this year!

Well done Paul!!!
