Maxi becomes Street League Ambassador

Maxi Jazz of leading band Faithless is the latest celebrity to lend his support to Street League. Maxi first came across the charity in 2006 when he visited a football training session for homeless young men in Whitechapel and was immediately impressed: He says: “Sport has such a positive role to play in people’s lives and for these guys from difficult backgrounds I could immediately see the impact it was having.”

In addition to his global success as the Faithless vocalist, Maxi’s other love is fast cars, and since founding Maxi Jazz Racing in 2000, he has competed in a number of tours.  In 2008 Maxi will be racing in an Aston Martin, and is delighted to be branding his car with the Street League logo.

Damian Hatton, Street League’s Chief Executive said: “This is a great opportunity for Street League to gain exposure, and we are very grateful for Maxi’s enthusiasm in supporting us. His involvement is also a huge boost for our participants and we all look forward to working with Maxi further in the future.”

Maxi is hoping to brand his latest racing car - an Aston Martin - with the Street League logo.
