Twinning Tournament

A one-day football tournament where your staff can be 'twinned' with Street League participants and compete together for the ultimate prize — The Street League Twinning Cup! Employees will 'twin' for a full day — compete together, lunch together and accompany each other to the post-tournament award ceremony. The experience illustrates perfectly how social barriers can be transcended through the beautiful game — and is a massive confidence boost for our participants. By the close of play you really will have helped us to change lives through football.

How it works

To take part in Street League Twinning, we ask each team to donate or fund-raise £5,000. This money goes directly into supporting our work with disadvantaged young people throughout the UK. If you decide to sign up — we'll help you with ideas as to how you can raise the money. Many businesses will match employee fundraising pound for pound, so your target might not be as high as you think.

State Street

Twinning Tournament winners for the last 2 years have experienced first-hand how Street League use the power of football to change lives. Tommy McNally (State Street Employee) talks of Chris, a Street League participant who was TWINNED with their team:

"I think all the guys (at State Street) would agree it was one of the best corporate events we've ever been involved with. Chris is a great guy and was really happy to be taking part. Football certainly brings people from all different backgrounds together. I am really glad to have met him."

Chris Fearon has since gone on to secure employment with a housing agency and is thoroughly enjoying his new post and the independence it gives him. Since leaving the programme Chris has been accepted onto the Street League graduate board.
