From lack of confidence to a leading degree for Honour - Manchester Honour attended a Street Football session as he hadn’t been able to find work since leaving college where he had been studying ICT. Honour had several qualifications and wanted to pursue a career in ICT, however he was struggling to find a job. Although he did not have any interest in football, once on the Academy programme Honour found himself enjoying the sessions and being part of a team. Honour's confidence grew as he progressed through the programme and he completed his Community Sports Leadership Award which he felt would help him in situations in the workplace. After graduating from the Academy, Honour continued to work with Street League as a volunteer. He helped on football sessions and provided some great support on the Academy programme and worked alongside staff in conducting mock interviews with participants. With his new-found confidence and motivation, Honour has since gone on to study a degree in Computer Networks and Security at the University of Bolton.
