Loti found out about Street League through his local Job Centre after talking to an advisor about his interest in becoming a football coach. He attended a Street League open day and after speaking with staff about what the programme would entail he decided to join the Academy programme.

Throughout the programme Loti was a committed member of the Academy and was determined to try his hardest. During his time at Street League he worked towards successfully gaining a number of qualifications, including his Community Sports Leadership award and an FA Level 1 certificate in coaching.

Speaking about his experiences on the Academy, Loti said: "I really enjoyed being a part of Street League. I feel I benefited a lot from the employability coaching and loved completing the Community Sports Leadership Award. It has given me a huge confidence boost and I feel I can now go on to achieve my ambitions.

“The sport aspect of the course helped me to improve my communication, confidence and team-work skills. I am also still in touch with many of my fellow team mates from the course.

“I would tell everyone about Street League because it was a fantastic eight weeks. I would recommend it for the people you meet, things you learn and also the fun you have on the course. It has also been great to keep in touch with Street League after the course and receive on-going support.”

Since successfully graduating from the Academy, Loti has gained employment as a charity fundraiser and is also coaching at Everton Football Club.
