The Scottish Business Pledge is a commitment between the Scottish Government and their partners to support business development in Scotland. We have joined more than 400 other businesses involved in the voluntary code of business practice. The Pledge ensures that innovation, fairness and opportunity develop together in Scotland. The Pledge In committing to the Pledge, we have agreed to the 9 Pledge components: · Pay the Living Wage · Not use exploitative zero-hours contracts · Support progressive workforce engagement · Invest in youth · Make progress on diversity and gender balance · Commit to an innovation programme · Pursue international business opportunities · Play an active role in the community · Commit to prompt payments Street League is proud to be delivering on components of the Pledge. In the future, we will build on these commitments and aim to keep on improving. Street League’s Managing Director, Dougie Stevenson said: “We hope that this award will show Street League’s commitment to the Scottish Governments drive for workforce equality and fairness while highlighting our ambition to boost the employability of those that are most disadvantaged”.
