Street League is the UK’s leading sport for employment charity, helping vulnerable young people into sustainable employment. Our vital work is made possible thanks to the amazing support of our partners and fundraisers.

In 2017 Matt Stevenson-Dodd, CEO of Street League, took on an incredible challenge to raise funds to support young people into work. Matt ran the Conwy Half Marathon at the end of November, a tough run including a 262m hill climb, and raised £1,000 for Street League.

Matt knows how crucial these funds are for Street League, saying:

“I'm raising money for the charity I am very proud to be CEO of, because we make a huge difference to the lives of young people in some of the most disadvantaged communities across England and Scotland. When young people come to us they've not had the best start in life and literally have their heads down. We get them playing sport and help them work out what they want to do in life. By the end of their time with Street League, the vast majority of our young people are motivated, confident and ready for work.”

Matt will continue to challenge himself in 2018, taking on the world’s biggest half marathon, The Great North Run, in September.

We look forward to keeping up with his progress throughout the year. A massive thank you to Matt for taking on such a great challenge for Street League.
