Street League are recruiting a fully qualified Customer Service SVQ/MA Assessor to join our Education and Training team. The Assessor will be responsible for a caseload of candidates and will plan and carry out assessment against Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) assessment standards, ensuring timely achievement of Level 2 and 3 (SCQF 5&6) qualifications and associated milestones. You will be expected to work collaboratively with your learners over a period, visiting them regularly within their workplace to assess their competence in Customer Service using a variety of assessment methods to assess their progress against current SQA standards. It is expected that some travel will be required although some work with your learners may be carried out remotely using our e-portfolio system.

You are required to have demonstrable and current experience of assessment of the Customer Service SVQ and the associated core skills and enhancements required for MA achievement. A relevant Assessor qualification (L&D9DI, A1 or similar) is essential. It is also expected that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with learners and their colleagues as well as excellent time management, attention to detail and organisational skills in order to work effectively at Street League. A driving licence and access to a car is essential. 


Location: Paisley, Glasgow, Bellshill, Clydebank or Edinburgh, working across Scotland 

Salary: £25,697

Work pattern: 5 days per week (37.5 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent
