In the past twelve months, we’ve helped over 1,700 young people find work and training in retail, hospitality, warehousing, construction, customer service and the sports industry. We work with a national network of top employers, such as DHL, Jewson, Hilton, Premier Inn.

  • Join our FREE 10-week sport and employability courses - based in 14 cities around the UK.
  • Support with work skills, life skills and getting you ready for work i.e. CV writing, Interview skills.
  • 1-1 support with career advice and mentoring
  • Opportunity to take nationally recognised qualificiations
  • Daily sports and fitness activities from our trained football and dance coaches.
  • Opportunity for 100-hour work experience with one of our great partners, such as Barclays, Jewson, Debenhams, Hilton and Hyundai.

Glasgow Programmes - Locations & Details 

Street League Football/Multi-Sports - Glasgow West

  • Overview: Football/Multisports Academy designed to support unemployed 16-24 year olds to move into education, employment and training.
  • Location: Glasgow Club Scotstoun Leisure Centre, 72 Danes Drive, Glasgow, G14 9HD
  • Includes: Employability and work skills training, professional football coaching every day, daily social activities, 100 hour work placement
  • Programme hours: Stage 2 - 15 hours per week, Mon-Thurs. Stage 3 - 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri
  • Other benefits: £55 per week training allowance for 16-18yrs and travel allowance of £12.50 per week for 16-24yrs, participant kit and PPE clothing for work placement as and when required

Street League Football - Glasgow South

  • Overview: Football Academy designed to support unemployed 16-24 year olds to move into education, employment and training.
  • Location: Goal Soccer Centre, 941 Pollockshaws Road, Glasgow, G41 2AA
  • Includes: Employability and work skills training, professional football coaching every day, daily social activities, 100 hour work placement
  • Programme hours: Stage 2 - 15 hours per week, Mon-Thurs. Stage 3 - 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri
  • Other benefits: £55 per week training allowance for 16-18yrs and travel allowance of £12.50 per week for 16-24yrs, participant kit and PPE clothing for work placement as and when required

Street League Fitness - Glasgow North/East

  • Overview: Fitness Academy designed to support unemployed 16-24 year olds to move into education, employment and training.
  • Location: The Fitness Group, Citypark, 368 Alexandra Parade, Glasgow, G31 3AU
  • Includes: Employability and work skills training, professional football coaching every day, daily social activities, 100 hour work placement
  • Programme hours: Stage 2 - 15 hours per week, Mon-Thurs. Stage 3 - 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri
  • Other benefits: £55 per week training allowance for 16-18yrs and travel allowance of £12.50 per week for 16-24yrs, participant kit and PPE clothing for work placement as and when required

Street League Fitness/Multi-Sports - Glasgow East  

  • Overview: Fitness/Multisports Academy designed to support unemployed 16-24-year-olds to move into education, employment and training.
  • Location: Tollcross Leisure Centre, Wellshot Road, Glasgow, G32 7QR
  • Includes: Personal Development and Employability Workshops, Sports activity, social activity, teambuilding activity, and some work exposure.
  • Programme hours: Stage 2 - 6 hours per week, Mon-Thurs.
  • Other benefits: Free 6 week gym pass, travel allowance, sports kit
