“I would say Street League is one of the best opportunities I've ever had. Without it I don't think I would be in my workplace where I am today”

Darren, 21, Glasgow

Made Outside The Classroom.

We believe that school isn't one-size-fits-all. It doesn't work for everyone and certainly isn't the only way to succeed. At Street League, you can play sport everyday, learn key skills and get the qualifications you need to get a job and get paid. It’s not about having mad football skills or dancing like Beyonce, it’s about having the determination to move into work (and having fun at the same time!).

How it works

  • 16-24 and out of work, education or training? OK great... read on.
  • Join our FREE sport and employability courses - based in 14 cities around the UK.
  • Support with work skills, life skills and getting you ready for work i.e. CV writing, Interview skills.
  • 1-to-1 support with career advice and mentoring, including once you've moved into a new job.
  • Help with job applications and applying for apprenticeships.
  • Opportunity to take nationally recognised qualifications
  • Daily sports and fitness activities with our trained football and dance coaches.
  • Opportunity for up to 100-hour work experience with one of our great partners, such as Barclays, Jewson, Debenhams, Hilton and Hyundai.
  • Plus... travel expenses paid and £50 worth of free Nike sportswear.

Does it really work?

  • YES! We helped 1,656 young people last year into jobs or training
  • We found jobs, apprenticeships, and training programmes for young people in 23 different industries (Top 3 were retail, hospitality, and construction).
