Corporate partnerships
YOUR SUPPORT IS VITAL TO HELP US SEE AN END TO YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE UK
We believe every young person should have the chance to succeed. Your company can have a direct impact on the lives of these young people and help them progress into sustained work, education or training. Everything we do is focused on supporting young people to help them fulfil their potential and build a secure and sustainable future.
We have a wealth of experience managing successful long term partnerships and there are many ways for your business and employees to get involved. We pride ourselves on our ability to create tailor-made strategically aligned partnerships and we will work with you to motivate your employees, engage your customers and enhance your brand reputation.
LET’S WORK TOGETHER TO TACKLE YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT
Our national sport and employability programmes run in cities across England and Scotland. We work with our partners aligning funding and volunteering opportunities to an academy relevant to their business location(s). This is a great opportunity to engage staff and make a positive difference to the local community.
Ways to get involved:
Financially support an academy in your area
Skills-based volunteering
Employee fundraising
Work experience or future jobs for our young people
Run a tournament or event, or sponsor one of Street League’s fundraising events
Gifts in kind: experiences and opportunities for the young people we support
Pro bono support to help build our future strategy
THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR STREET LEAGUE PARTNERS
Corporate partnerships have a direct impact on the experience young people have at Street League.
HOW DO WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
We use the power of sport to tackle poverty and give young people the opportunities they need to succeed in life and the workplace.
We work with young people aged 14-30, living in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities, and help them overcome their practical and personal barriers to employment.
Our purpose is not to just engage with young people, but to ensure they progress into high-quality employment. Securing a job is important but sustaining it is our most valuable measure of success. Our focus is to ensure young people are supported to sustain their job, so it really has a life-changing impact.
See Our ImpactProviding opportunities across the UK
We work in communities, schools and with employers across Scotland and England as well as offering online support to young people not in employment, education or training.
See Our Activity“We were looking to partner with an organisation that empowered young people to achieve their potential and build a secure and sustainable career – Street League does that in a truly innovative way. Their commitment to young people’s futures is clear. They use advanced monitoring and evaluation processes, honestly demonstrating the direct impact they are having on these young people’s lives. By partnering with Street League, we have been able to focus our support in the areas of our business and meet the needs of that local area. We have also gained valuable volunteering opportunities for our staff, using their expertise to positively impact young people and their ability to secure work.”
