Street League Launches First-Ever Female-Only Academy
Street League is proud to announce the launch of our first ever female only academy, a major milestone in our mission to empower young women through sport, education and personal development.
This exciting new initiative will take place in Liverpool and London, with funding support from Standard Chartered and Women Win.

Barclays Street League volunteering
Employee volunteering is an essential part of Street League’s Academy programme. It allows young people to engage with professionals, gaining knowledge, skills and advice that directly helps them on their journey into work.
We have a national partnership with Barclays LifeSkills which is focused on supporting young people into work and engaging their colleagues in regular volunteering opportunities at our local Academies and at Barclays offices.

20 years ago, Street League was registered as a charity. Since then, we’ve worked with over 30,000 young people, supported over 15,000 young people into work, further education or training, and supported over 8,000 young people to achieve key qualifications.
To celebrate this, we want to produce a short documentary that will showcase the diverse journeys of individuals who have been part of our programmes over the past two decades.
