STREET LEAGUE: Standing Against Racism, Sectarianism & Anti-Semitism
At Street League, we use Sport and Education to help young people into work. We believe our activity brings people together and breaks down barriers. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces, where every young person, staff member, and partner feels respected, no matter their background, faith, or ethnicity.
Our Commitment
We stand firmly against racism, sectarianism, anti-semitism and all forms of hate or discrimination.
We promote understanding and learning through our programmes and partnerships and we are proud to celebrate the different cultures and faiths within the communities we serve.
How We Put This Into Action
All our programmes are delivered in inclusive, welcoming environments
Our teams receive training on equality, diversity, and inclusion, including how to recognise and challenge racism, sectarianism, and anti-semitism
We ensure participants and colleagues of all faiths are free to express their beliefs safely and respectfully
We work with employers and partners who share our commitment to fairness and equality
Our work is about helping young people to progress in their lives, to become economically active and alleviate their personal challenges. Our services are based on the principles of respect, opportunity, and equality for all. Which in turn is more likely to create an environment where our young people can become active, aware and contributing citizens through a lens of understanding.
